Mustang-8A RedDeerStag Horn, Satin, a compact hunting and outdoor knife made of X50CrMoV15 stainless steel. Handle made of deer horn guarantees a comfortable and secure grip. Hand-stitched leather sheath included. Will not fail in any situation!
X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) – molybdenum-vanadium high carbon martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of 15.0% chromium (Cr), 0.80% molybdenum (Mo), 0.20% vanadium (V).
Blade – wide Clip Point Bowie type blade finished with elegant Satinization. Despite its thickness, the hollow grind provides excellent cutting properties combined with superb durability. The low descending line of the Blade creates Guard, which protects fingers from slipping on the blade during work.
Handle – covered with naturalred deer stag scales, providing an exclusive appearance. The contoured design eliminates sharp edges for a comfortable grip, while the natural texture enhances grip security. The knife fits well in the hand, doesn’t slip, and is easy to handle in all conditions. The scales are secured with through pins.
Sheath- crafted fromnatural dark browncowhide leather. The sheath features an embossed manufacturer’s logo and is secured with Prim-type snap fasteners. The edges are stitched with decorative thread. Designed for vertical carry, it can be attached to a belt or gear for convenient transportation.
