Keanu Alfaro, an experienced industrial designer and entrepreneur from San Diego, California, USA, has an unwavering passion for creating innovative knives and everyday tools. His youth was spent playing sports, hiking, building things and exploring the world, and it was during these adventures that he discovered his fascination with knives and tools. In 2021, Keanu began his career by joining a prestigious knife and tool company. Blade – Tantotype,withan eye-catchingTwo-Tonefinish:satingrind andStonewashedfinished on the rest of the blade.The geometric belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while thehigh, flat grindgives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance.Ceramic ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a quickindex-finger flipper,which also acts as a guard when open. A section of the blade’s back is covered withan upper jimping,notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife. The whole is locked with the proven and popularliner lock.
Handle – grips made of G10 composite laminated on the surface with a layer of Carbon Fiber, practically indestructible plastic insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges and characteristic vertical surface grooves improve grip security. The open-backed design, fixed with steel spacer sleeves, reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. The single-position (right) clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position, with the tip of the blade upward. Above the clip a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord.
