Urban Tactic Black G10, Black Cerakotetactical knife from the Polish ZA-PAS Knives manufactory, suitable for any outdoor expedition. Due to its size and durability, without losing the features of a full-size bushcraft knife. Outdoor knife of full tang construction with blade made of NMVtool steel, aimed at enthusiasts of survival, hunting, lovers of any other outdoor activity.
NMV(AISI O2 1.2842)-a type of low-alloy cold working tool steel with better complex mechanical properties than carbon tool steel and has higher hardness and wear resistance. Since the steelAISI O2contains a certain amount of vanadium0.15%,the grain size is refined, and the steel’s sensitivity to overheating is reduced. At the same time, the carbides are fine and evenly distributed. It is characterized by resistance to deformation in heat treatment, good cutting properties, high hardenability and considerable hardness. Applications include cutting, punching and stamping tools; pressed extrusions for the plastics industry, roll gauging tools. long taps, reamers, disc and disc knives for paper and leather, shear blades, guide rails.
Cerakote™ – a ceramic-based finish that can be applied to metals to improve a range of physical properties, including abrasion/wear and corrosion resistance. Thin-film non-reflective, low-friction matte protective coating resistant to heat, chemicals and impact. Provides durability and hardness.
Blade – extremely sharp with Straight Back profile, with marked belly, ideal for all kinds of work. Covered with a black Cerakote™ coating, the Plain blade is derived with a high Flat Grind, the high grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The enlarged hilt protects the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest.
Handle – covered with durable G10 (fiberglass compressed with synthetic resin) grips in black, with a slightly rough surface. They provide excellent ergonomics and a secure grip. The profiled design of the Handle provides a comfortable grip on the knife in both directions, especially for users who appreciate an inverted grip. In the rear protruding part of the tango forms a massive glass striker, there is also a lanyard hole, a hole for a rope.
Sheath – an extended sheath, protecting the Blade along with part of the Handle, made of Kydex. Attaching to the belt with a loop allows you to carry the knife in an upright position.
