Ambro 2 Orange G10, Satin compact EDC knife from the Polish ZA-PAS Knives manufactory, suitable for any field trip. Due to its dimensions and light weight incredibly handy and easy to carry, without losing the features of a full-size bushcraft knife.Outdoor knife of full tang construction with a 1.4116S stainless steel blade , aimed at enthusiasts of survival, hunting, lovers of any other outdoor activity.
1.4116S – molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used for knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. Thanks to the addition of 0.1% nitrogen (N), it can be hardened higher than the standard 1.4116, up to a hardness of 59-61 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with the addition of 15.0% chromium (Cr), 0.80% molybdenum (Mo), 0.20% vanadium (V). Equivalent to Sandvik 14C28N steel.
Blade – extremely sharp with Drop Point profile , with marked belly, ideal for all kinds of work. Finished with an elegant satin finish, the Plain blade is derived with a high Flat Grind, the high grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The enlarged crossguard protects the hand from slipping on the blade.
Handle – covered with durable G10 (fiberglass pressed with synthetic resin) grips in orange color, with a slightly rough surface. They provide excellent ergonomics and a secure grip. The symmetrical design of the Handle allows the knife to be held both ways, especially for users who appreciate an inverted grip. A series of holes not only visually gives lightness to the Handle, but also subtracts the real weight of the knife.
Sheath – an extended sheath that protects the Blade along with part of the Handle, made of Kydex plastic. Attaching to the belt by means of a Tek-Lok handle, allows the knife to be carried in an upright position .
