AISI 420 (American Iron and Steel Institute) – a martensitic stainless steel rich in carbon 0.15% and containing min. 12% chromium. In the annealed state, it has good ductility and excellent corrosion resistance. AISI 420 grade has the highest chromium content of all stainless steels, 12-14%, and a hardness in the 52 -55 HRC range.

Handle – ergonomic, covered with temperature-resistant textured ABS hardened plastic grips in red. Molded finger cutouts strengthen the grip even with wet hands. The knife is equipped with a left-side metal clip that allows the knife to be carried in a tip-down position (blade tip down). A hole in the back of the Handle allows attachment of a safety cable.
