Buffalo-17M Black Pakka Wood, Satin, a large knife crafted from440stainless steel, ensuring enhanced blade hardness and durability. The pakka wood handle provides a comfortable and secure grip. Included is a hand-stitched leather sheath. Designed to be a reliable and highly versatile tool for a variety of outdoor applications.
AISI 440(AmericanIron andSteelInstitute)high carbon (min. 0.95%) martensitic alloy stainless steel with a hardness of57-59 HRCwith impressively high strength and corrosion resistance, containing min. 16% chromium. The high carbon content generates chromium carbide compounds for wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for production of cutting tools, knife and scissors blades and medical instruments.
Blade – a wide Bowie type blade finished elegantly Satinized. Despite its thickness, the full flat grind provides excellent cutting properties combined with excellent durability. Guard on both sides made of alpaca, called “new silver”, protects fingers from slipping on the blade while working.
Handle – made of blackpakka wood (laminate) stained black. The profiled Handle eliminates sharp edges for comfortable grip and the texture on the surface improves grip confidence. Guard and Pommel made of alpaca, called “new silver”.
Sheath – handcrafted from premium cowhide leather with an embossed manufacturer’s logo. The edges are stitched with decorative thread. Secured with a Prym snap fastener, it features a belt loop for vertical knife carry.
