14C28N – Martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Sandvik’s Swedish mills. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!
Blade – type Axe, finished impressively with Two Tone method, satin-finished grinds, the rest of the blade finished with a scratch-masking bath of fine Stonewashed pebbles. The arc of the cutting edge elongates it in relation to the Blade’s width. The thickness of the blade, combined with the flat grind, gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. To facilitate control of the blade, the rest of the edge is covered with an upper jimping, notched thumb rest.
Handle – titanium grips screwed directly to the tang. Simple, solid construction guarantees many years of use. The surface of the grips covered with recesses thanks to which the whole is not only lighter but improves grip security. In the rear part, a hole for interweaving a safety or decorative cord. Protruding part of the tango that can be used as an improvised glass striker.
Sheath – made of titanium, a rare solution with magnets, holding the knife in a secured position. In addition, we can secure the knife with an additional lever. It can be carried with a clip, clipped to a pocket or belt, it can also be worn around the neck. Magnets also allow you to attach it to a metal surface.
