Mustang-8R Red Pakka Wood, Satin, a compact hunting and outdoor knife made of X50CrMoV15 stainless steel. Pakka wood Handle guarantees a comfortable and secure grip. Hand-stitched leather sheath included. Will not fail in any situation!
X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) – molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of 15.0% chromium (Cr), 0.80% molybdenum (Mo), 0.20% vanadium (V).
Blade – wide Clip Point Bowie type blade finished with elegant Satinization. Despite its thickness, the hollow grind provides excellent cutting properties combined with superb durability. The low descending line of the Blade creates Guard, which prevents fingers from slipping on the blade during work.
Handle – made of red stained pakka wood (laminate). The profiled Handle eliminates sharp edges for comfortable grip and the texture on the surface improves grip confidence. Grips are attached with through pins.
Sheath – hand-stitched, made of top quality cowhide, with embossed manufacturer’s logo. The edges of the case were stitched with decorative thread. The belt attachment allows the knife to be carried in an upright position.
