AISI 420(AmericanIron andSteelInstitute)- martensitic stainless steel rich in carbon0.15%and containing min.12%chromium. In the annealed state, it has good ductility and excellent corrosion resistance. AISI 420 grade has the highest chromium content of all stainless steels,12-14%,and a hardness in the range of52 -55 HRC.
Blade – Clip Point type, slim and extremely sharp, finished impressively inMirror Finish.Plain blade is led out with a concave grind (Hollow Grind) for geometry and strength and for effective and deep cuts. Nail Nick recess for opening the blade. Robust Back-Lock.
Handle – ergonomic, covered with temperature-resistant textured ABS hardened plastic grips in black. Molded finger cutouts strengthen the grip even with wet hands. The knife is equipped with a left-side metal clip that allows the knife to be carried in tip-down position (blade tip down). In the back of the Handle, a hole for attaching a safety cable.
