Sigurd Tanto Gray Steel, Satin extremely lightweight knife with a fixed blade, neck type. The perfectly balanced Handle with a series of relief holes provides a secure and comfortable grip in the most demanding conditions. The high-quality Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel blade features excellent sharpness retention, making it the perfect tool for professionals and outdoor enthusiasts. A flat kydex sheath for hanging around the neck ensures easy and safe carrying of the knife.
14C28N – Martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in a range of knife steels produced by Swedish steel mills Sandvik. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!
Blade -Tanto type, finished with elegant satin finish. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the wide blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade and the flat grind give excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. A notched section of the Blade’s back, the spine jimping ramp gives solid support, making it easier to handle the knife for precision work.
Handle – tang of the knife with a series of holes to reduce weight and improve grip. At the top and bottom you will find a notched (jimping) section to improve control of the knife. The simple, solid construction guarantees many years of use. Finger ring back ring / tail ring / ring pommel prevent the knife from slipping while working and also allow you to perform simple manual work without putting down the knife.
Sheath – when designing, great emphasis was placed on the ease of carrying and retrieving the knife. Made of Kydex plastic. Complete with a ball chain that allows you to hang it around your neck.
