Made of the highest quality fine materials by experienced Italian craftsmen from Maniago. It combines tradition, utility and modern construction technologies for which the Viper brand is famous.
Fabrizio Silvestrelliis an Italian master knife maker, known for his elegant and practical works of functional art. He began his career in 1988 and is currently president of the Italian Knifemakers Association. His knife designs, often in an artistic style, are distinguished by impeccable quality and intricate details. Silvestrelli works with various manufacturers to reach a wider audience. His knives, both fixed and folding, are prized for their harmony of lines and character of design.
Elmax – considered the „best all-around knife steel” a modern alloy steel with a high content of 17.30% (Cr), carbon 1.70% (C), vanadium 3.00% (V), molybdenum 1.00% (Mo), silicon 0.80% (Si). Hardened in the range of 57-62 HRC. Produced by powder metallurgy method of mixing finely powdered materials, pressing to the desired shape, and then heating to sinter or bind the material. It is characterized by extreme edge holding, high wear and corrosion resistance, and dimensional stability. Manufactured at Böhler-Uddeholm steel mills in Austria.
Blade – Clip Point style with a clearly marked belly, finished with a scratch-masking Stonewashed finish. The thickness of the blade and the high, flat grind give excellent cutting properties, combined with extreme durability. Ball bearing system aids in the smooth opening of the blade, which can be opened with a quick flipper flipper. The flipper consists of a small lever (protrusion) that extends beyond the back of the Handle when the Blade is closed. In the open position, it acts as a stinger, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade. Liner-Lock mechanism with patented SMART A.S.L.S. additional security.
Handle – pieces of solid Canvas Micarta, a composite of pressure-pressed canvas with synthetic resin, insensitive to weather, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. The grips were screwed to a CNC-milled backspacer, which means that such a design is virtually indestructible. The chamfering of the cover eliminates sharp edges for comfort, and the fore finger groove made on the front improves grip security. A right-handed, single-position deep clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in tip-up (tip up) position. At the end of the Handle lanyard hole, a hole for a cord.
