420H- a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel with an increased carbon (C) content of0.17%to0.23%,also containing chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo) offers high hardenability in the54-58 HRCrange, as well as strength, toughness, machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades and medical instruments.
Blade – broad and robust with a Bowie profile, elegantly finished with a satin polish. Despite its thickness, the hollow grind ensures excellent cutting performance combined with outstanding durability. The long false edge enhances piercing capabilities. The double-sided guard, made from a zinc-aluminum alloy, protects fingers from slipping onto the blade during use.
Handle – coated with flexible, textured elastomer overlay, finished with a sturdy pommel. The soft rubber grip fits comfortably in the hand, ensuring a secure hold even with wet hands. Its strong and reliable grip allows for precise and controlled knife movements.
Sheath – handcrafted from cowhide leather with an embossed manufacturer’s logo. The edges are stitched with decorative thread. Secured with a Prym snap fastener, it features a belt loop for vertical carry of the knife.
