Frame Rock Blue Titanium, Satin firmly built compact folding knife from Extrema Ratio with strong construction. Easy to carry in pockets, small flashlight holsters or on a single MOLLE system belt. N690 – cobalt-rich 1.65% (Co) corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C) martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with higher cobalt (Co) content in its composition. It features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened in the range of 58-61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade – wide, Spear Point type, finished with an elegant satin finish. The solid thickness of the blade combined with a high, flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. A large, centrally located grain reinforces the strength of the blade. Ball bearings support the smooth opening of the blade, which can be opened with a double-sided pin in the wedge (Double Thumb Stud). To maintain full control of the blade, there is an upper jimping, notched thumb rest on the back of the wedge. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel insert to prevent the lock face from rubbing off.
Handle – grips made of blue anodized titanium. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges and Extrema Ratio’s characteristic finger recesses improve grip security. The so-called open-backed design without the typical backspacer, fastened together with steel spacer sleeves for easy cleaning. Simple, sturdy construction provides assurance of many years of use. A two-position (right/left) steel deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up). Below the pivot screw is a smaller opening force adjustment screw, depending on your preference you can set yourself the amount of force needed to open the knife.
