Gordo Guibourtia Wood, Damascusis the latest design by American knifemaker Peter Carey. It is a compact EDC folding knife, perfectly crafted, featuring a Guibourtia wood handle and a Damascus steel blade with a unique pattern. Its small size makes it ideal for everyday carry.

Damascus – Damascus stainless steel blade with a unique pattern. A blade consisting of two different types of steel, forged and assembled together in different ways obtaining this amazing pattern. It is characterised by a high hardness of 58-60 HRC.
Blade – wide Drop Point, made of Damascus steel with a unique pattern. The pronounced belly extends the cutting edge relative to the blade length, tapering toward a needle-sharp tip. The relatively thin blade combined with a high hollow grind provides excellent cutting performance while maintaining high durability. Ceramic ball bearings support smooth blade deployment, which can be initiated using either the ambidextrous double thumb stud or the index-finger flipper, which also serves as a guard when the blade is open. This makes the knife comfortable to use for both right- and left-handed users.The blade spine features upper jimping—a ridged thumb rest that improves control. The knife is secured by a solid liner lock mechanism.
Handle – the scales are made of exotic Guibourtia wood and are screwed onto steel liners. The open-backed construction, without a typical backspacer, is connected with steel spacer tubes, which makes cleaning easier. The simple and sturdy build ensures reliable long-term use. The deep-carry clip, single-position (right), allows carrying the knife in a tip-up position (point up).
Sheath – the set includes a soft nylon pouch with a zipper and the manufacturer’s logo, designed for safe storage and transport of the folding knife.
