Quinseris Gray Titanium/Aluminum Foil Carbon, Hand Polished Satin/Gray Stonewashed is a large knife that combines exceptional design with the highest quality materials. Utilitarian, yet elegant design, created with the most demanding users in mind. The blade is made of excellent Böhler M390 steel, known for its long sharpness retention and corrosion resistance. The ergonomic handle, precisely crafted from titanium and Aluminum Foil Carbon composite, provides not only extreme durability, but also a perfect fit for almost any hand, which significantly increases the comfort of use. The knife’s strong construction makes it an ideal tool for heavy work, unafraid of any challenge. Every detail of this knife has been carefully thought out to ensure maximum functionality and reliability in all conditions.
M390 – martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), hardened between 59-61 HRC, subjected to vacuum and cryogenic treatments and double tempering. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter’s CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Head – Clip Point type, finished impressively with Two Tone method, hand satin-finished grinds, the rest finished with Gray Stonewash. The wide blade converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grindgives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a discreet flipper flipper. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest and a slight recess behind it help with precision work. The whole is locked with a Nested Frame Lock.
Handle – is a thick piece of titanium 6AL4V, the contouring of the covers eliminates sharp edges. On both sides there is an inlay (insert) made of Aluminum Foil Carbon. Only a few companies are able to make the handle with such incredible accuracy! The liners are joined together using a titanium backspacer. A right-handed, single-position titanium deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up (blade up) position. As in other models, the pivot axis is decorated with a stylized manufacturer’s logo.
Case – a zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer’s logo is included for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
