Model S6034 from Amont Decor Habitat is a faithful replica of a medieval one-handed sword, modeled after the weapons used by knights and warriors in the late medieval period. The sword is characterized by a long blade with a full flat grind, a straight crossguard style and a clearly marked ball type head. It also comes with a sheath trimmed with brown leather, equipped with a leather strap system that allows attachment to a belt – stylized for military suspension of the era. This is a replica that will find its place both in the collection, on the wall and in historical reconstructions.
Blade – was made of hardened high-carbon steel 1065, finished to a satin sheen. Its classic lenticular ( lenticular ) profile with a pronounced full flat grind provides a faithful reproduction of medieval knight’s swords – slightly tapering towards the hilt.The sword has a smooth edge (unsharpened), making it safe for show or decorative use. A central grain (groove) running along the length of the blade increases the rigidity of the structure and reduces weight, in accordance with traditional medieval sword-making technology.
Handle – consists of a steel shank, on which is mounted a wooden body wrapped in natural leather in brown, which provides an authentic look and comfortable grip.Straight, steel, straight crossguard type, effectively protects the hand from slipping on the blade, and the spherical head (pommel) helps balance and stabilize the sword. The whole retains the correct proportions of the medieval weapon, making this model an ideal choice for reenactors and history enthusiasts.
Sheath and carrying system – made of wood trimmed with brown natural leather, finished with steel fittings at the hilt and at the hilt. The set also includes a set of leather carrying straps, allowing the sword to be attached to a belt or slung over the shoulder – exactly as the weapon was worn in the Middle Ages. This set allows the sword to be effectively displayed in historical costume and conveniently carried during reenactments, historical events or battle shows.
