Model S2025 by Amont Decor Habitat is a functional katana, designed for lovers of traditional Japanese weapons and martial arts practitioners. It combines the classic proportions of a true katana with a sturdy 1065 high-carbon steel blade, ready for light forms of training and striking presentation. The blade is finished with an elegant satin finish, preserving its authentic appearance and increasing its resistance to corrosion. The handle of the sheath is wrapped with a brown synthetic battle wrap, and the whole thing is enclosed in an aesthetically pleasing presentation set – with a wooden lacquered sheath (saya) and a dedicated fabric padded case. This is a katana that perfectly combines aesthetics, functionality and attractive value for money.
Blade – made of hardened high-carbon steel 1065, offering good durability and resilience. The shinogi-zukuri profile – characteristic of real Japanese swords – provides high cutting functionality and an authentic look. The blade is full-length, smooth (no hamon), with a gently rounded tip and subtly accentuated side lines. The satin finish gives the Blade a classic, subdued sheen and minimizes susceptibility to scratches from daily use. The katana is not factory sharpened, making it suitable for kata training and presentation.
Handle – made of polymer, providing a good grip and a traditional look. The use of polymer instead of natural samegawa (rayon) makes it possible to reduce costs without much loss of aesthetics. The tsuba (guard) is made of metal and lacquered in gold, with a simple form for comfortable draw and control of the blade. It comes with a saya – a lacquered black wooden sheath decorated with brown sageo binding.
Additional accessories – The katana comes in an elegant presentation box lined with yellow satin fabric. The set also includes a wooden stand for the sword, allowing for its striking display in a home collection.
