Techno 3 Gray Titanium, Satin is a perfect interpretation of the modern folder, designed by the esteemed Polish knife designer Marcin Slysz. This third installment of the iconic design stands out for its harmonious combination of durability, precision and functionality. The compact but extremely robust EDC knife was created for intensive use in all conditions. The main changes from previous versions are the addition of a fast flipperfor opening and the use of ball bearings. Blade made of high-quality CTS XHP steel is characterized by excellent corrosion resistance and long sharpness retention. The solid R.I.L. (Reeve Integral Lock) lock ensures safety and security during use. Handle, made of durable titanium, has been carefully developed for ergonomics. The compact size makes it easy to carry on a daily basis, and the deep carry clip guarantees a convenient attachment. CTS® XHP- an air-hardening, high-carbon and high-chromium corrosion-resistant American knife steel with a hardness of60-64 HRC.CTS® XHPalloy is a powder metallurgy byCarpenter Technology Corporation.The alloy contains1.6%carbon (C),16%chromium (Cr) and0.8%molybdenum (Mo) and0.45%vanadium (V). Thanks to its properties, it is relatively easy to sharpen, maintains sharpness for a very long time and provides high corrosion resistance.
ReeveIntegralLock- (R.I.L.) reinforced, monolithic blockade of the blade (Frame-Locktype). One of the claddings acts as a blocking mechanism.
Blade – solid, Sheepfootprofile with a slightly marked curve of the cutting edge. Plain blade, derived with a flat grind (Flat Grind) for excellent geometry and strength. Round SpyderHole cutout (Spyderco patent) for opening the Blade also with sweaty hands. Ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a discreet index-finger flipperwhen opened acting as a stag. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular Reeve Integral-Lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face.
Handle – solid titanium 6AL4V, sandblasted for better grip. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort and improve grip security. Connected to each other by a solid titanium backspacer for rigidity of the whole structure. The simplicity and sturdiness of the construction provide assurance of many years of use. Single-position clip (right), made of titanium, allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position.
