14C28N- martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by SwedishSandviksteel mills.An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon0.62%(C) and increasing the chromium content14.0%(Cr), as well as adding nitrogen0.11%(N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Blade -Clip Point type,finished with elegant satin finish.The backbone extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the slender blade, converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife.The thickness of the bladeprovides high strength whilethehigh, flat grindgives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance.Ball bearingssupport the opening of the blade with a index-fingerflipper,which also acts as a guard when open.A section of the blade’s back is covered withan upper jimping,notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife.
