9Cr18MoV – high-grade stainless knife steel. A high content of 18.0% chromium (Cr) and an average of 0.95% carbon (C) provide high hardness and corrosion resistance, while the addition of alloying elements 1.3% molybdenum (Mo), 0.8% silicon (Si), 0.12% vanadium (V) increase strength and wear resistance. 9Cr18MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC. It is used in the manufacture of knives, including damascus and surgical blades, swords, scissors, cutlery.
Blade – Wharncliffe type with a straight cutting edge, finished with an elegant satin finish. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth operation of the blade’s opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper(index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. The knife can also be opened with a double-sided peg in the wedge. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid liner lock.
Handle – made of G10 composite,practically indestructible plastic, insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. Chamfered cover edges eliminate sharp edges for comfort, grip. Open-backed design fixed with steel spacer sleeves reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. A fore finger groove made on the front improves grip security. Two-position, right/leftdeep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).
Case – included zippered soft nylon case with manufacturer’s logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
