Muela Colibri COL-7.TO Maple Wood, Satin hunting knife with classic lines with a fixed blade of full tang construction, from the Spanish company Muela. Artfully crafted, ideal for collectors, hunting enthusiasts, people who appreciate an active lifestyle. Made of MoVa molybdenum-vanadium steel.
X50CrMoV15(1.4116) -molybdenum-vanadiumhigh-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of56-58 HRC.The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of15.0%chromium (Cr),0.80%molybdenum (Mo),0.20%vanadium (V).
Blade – with Drop Point profile, 2.9 mm thick with good mechanical properties and long sharpness holding. Plain type smooth blade was led out with a concave grind (Hollow Grind). Satin Finish (semi-matte) coating eliminates glare. At the base of the Blade a brass hilt to protect the hand.
Handle – profiled provides excellent grip while working. Grips made of natural maple wood. Bolster and rivets securing the covers made of high nickel brass. In the back of the Handle a hole for mounting a thong, safety cable.
Sheath – extended, protects the Blade along with part of the Handle. Made of natural brown leather with embossed company logo. Sheath is stitched on the edges with decorative thread. Mounting to a belt or a belt equipment allows to carry the knife in an upright position.
